From a vast collection of found and hunted photographs, Jones has produced a series of collages and video loops that draw connections between how we create, communicate with and consume photography in today's "Remix Culture". There is both an order and a chaos present, which overall asks the question, what does it mean to organize and interpret imagery in the digital realm, where the archives of visual information are in a constant state of growth and evolution?
Jones received a BFA in Photography from California College of the Arts and an MFA in Interdisciplinary Fine Arts from Carnegie Mellon. Her work has been displayed in various museums and gallery exhibitions including the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, and the Portland Institute for Contemporary Arts in Oregon.
